Based on guidance from BMTF Steering Board, BMTF Standing Organization in close cooperation with host nation Serbian Armed Forces has organized and conducted III Workshop (WS) “BMTF Deployment Outside of West-Balkan region”. The workshop was held from 07th to 10th March in Belgrade, Serbia.
This workshop was organized in order:
– To continue work based on products, conclusions and recommendations from II Workshop conducted in Ljubljana in November 2021;
– To exchange experience with Serbian Armed Forces about planning and deployment in UN mission (Military hospital role 2 in Bangui, Central African Republic);
– To exchange experience with UN representatives about planning and deployment in UN mission;
– To incorporate UN standards and requirements into the draft concept for BMTF deployment in a mission;
The workshop was attended by 23 participants from BMTF participating and partner nations.
