Pre-New Year Reception and ceremony of official donation of two brand new vehicles by
representatives of Kingdom of Norway took a place on 01 December 2022 at Illinden Barracks,
Skopje.
The aim of donation is to improve mobility and safety of the BMTF SO members while
conducting their activities in the region.
On his speech, in front of distinguished guests, the BMTF Commander, Lieutenant Colonel
Igor Stergar expressed his immense gratitude for continuing support from Kingdom of
Norway to BMTF and participating nations during past decade, as well as from United
States, especially in developing national military medical capabilities and achieving mutual
cooperation and interoperability in order to fulfill BMTF mission and goals.
Lieutenant Colonel Dagfinn Bjorklid, project manager officer from the Norwegian Armed
Forces, recalled the hard work for establishing the Organization and reaching Full
Operational Capability. However, these recognized achievements are solid base for future
visions and lasting cooperation and support by Kingdom of Norway.
The vehicle’s keys were handed over to the BMTF Commander by Mr. Nesim Mutevelic,
Norwegian Defense Attaché Assistant in Embassy of Kingdom of Norway in Belgrade, Serbia.
